Research performed by an epidemiologist at Michigan State University found that many Americans do not you must do everything they could to guide cook. The analysis which was published in journal Archives of General medicine, looked at four basic characteristics which are section of the home chef:

Eating five or maybe more servings of fruits and vegetables every single day.

The researcher was quite surprised along with his findings: of 153,000 adults, only 3% followed all steps for any healthy lifestyle. "I became really quite surprised at how low that number was," said Mathew Reeves, an assistant professor of epidemiology at Michigan State University. "These results illustrate the extraordinarily low prevalence of healthy lifestyles in the U.S. adult population."
Here is the individual breakdown for the four healthy lifestyle characteristics:

75% didn't smoke.
23% ate no less than five servings of vegatables and fruits everyday.
22% exercised regularly.
40% maintained a proper weight.
What These studies Method for Americans

First the bad news. An unhealthy lifestyle means more illness and even more expense to manage those illnesses. What this means is a bigger burden when using already challenged healthcare system. Poor health does mean more time lost at the job, less quality recreational time, and in some cases shorter lifespans.
Fortunately that every these change in lifestyle are reversible instead of at the great cost. Do not forget that changing your unhealthy lifestyle to a healthy you'll decrease your risk for cardiovascular disorders, diabetes, cancer, and also other diseases.
